Fast Company recently highlighted the top 10 most innovative companies in China, many of which will not be household names in the west. What’s interesting about many of these firms, and others in China, is the rapidly increasing number of Ivy League MBAs occupying their management teams. Lenovo, a well-known maker of laptops and notebook computers, has more than 50 Harvard Business School grads in its employ. FAW Group has 40 from Harvard, 30 from Yale and others from Stanford, Rutgers and Princeton. This does not include the advanced degrees in sciences and engineering that also increasingly populate Chinese firms.
